 | The final assembly processes include the
attachment of the customer specified arresters and other protective equipment. As the completed assembly is placed on a holding conveyor, the unit is securely banded to custom shipping pallets. The units are allowed to stabilize at ambient temperature on the holding conveyor prior to receiving a full series of routine tests. | |
 | |
 |
 | Each transformer must pass a complete series of electrical and mechanical tests that conform to the ANSI and IEEE standards. These tests include high potential, full wave impulse, polarity, turns ratio, induced voltage, exciting current, core loss, winding loss, leak test, pressure withstand, and the primary and secondary winding resistance. | |
 | |
 |
 | Upon successful completion of the rigid testing process, the unit is given a final inspection and the finishing touches are added to the unit including a Laser Etched Nameplate. A multi-million dollar inventory is maintained at six warehouse locations to allow prompt response to the ever changing customer requirements. | |
